FMDB Transactions on Sustainable Critical Infrastructures

Aims and Scope
FMDB Transactions on Sustainable Critical Infrastructures (FTSCIS) publishes peer-reviewed research articles, reviews, and communications on unique theoretical, methodological, and applied contributions to critical infrastructures. It fosters multidisciplinary research in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, data science, economics, management, and social sciences, with a focus on technology innovation and socioeconomic impact. Telecommunications and information networks, energy systems (electricity, gas, oil, and heat), water supply, transportation, banking and financial services, government operations, and emergency and public safety services are covered in the journal. It highlights these systems' growing complexity, dependency, and digital transformation in platform-based and interconnected contexts. Digital Twin technologies for critical infrastructure modelling, simulation, monitoring, and optimisation are emphasised. Artificial intelligence and machine learning for digital twins, enabling technologies, cybersecurity applications, cyber situational awareness, and security testing and operations centers are covered. IoT expansion, remote access, increasing connection, and changing cyber threats present cybersecurity issues, which the journal examines. It encourages cyber-resilient infrastructure design, digital twin security testing, condition monitoring, diagnostics, prognosis, and critical system protection research. Submissions associated with the UN SDGs, notably Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, are encouraged.
