Aims and Scope
FMDB Transactions on Sustainable Structures and Materials (FTSSM) is an international peer-reviewed publication that provides a means of communication to engineers and scientists by archiving achievements in sandwich construction worldwide. Experimentally validate analytical and numerical work or compare it to public data. Numerical and analytical modelling should help experimental activity to generate new information. Papers illustrating established ideas or processes, even if they contain fresh discoveries, are rarely published. FTSSM publishes the highest quality original research reporting the results of experimental or theoretical work on any aspect of intelligent materials systems and/or structures research, also called smart structure, smart materials, active materials, adaptive structures and adaptive materials. It's a forum for international civil engineers and material scientists as mechanical engineers to present and discuss topics related to concrete, cement-based composites, polymer concrete, fibre-reinforced concrete, The journal publishes high-quality papers on building materials' fundamental properties, characterization and processing techniques, modelling, standardisation of test methodologies, and building and civil engineering applications of research results. Materials and Structures publishes committee reports.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Computer-aided engineering (CAD), simulations
- Automation, robotics, metrology, logistics
- Modeling/demolishing/remediating concrete
- Concrete or cement-based composites microstructure
- Concrete structural technology/ product data interchange
- Fiber reinforced concrete technology (FRC Tech.)
- Materials/Structural Mechanics/Engineering,
- Geomechanics, acoustics, biomechanics
- Nano/molecular/quantum mechanics
- Solid and structural mechanics/ Fluid mechanics
- Mechanics of materials/Heat transfer/Dynamics
- Geomechanics/Acoustics/Biomechanics/DSS
- Nanomechanics/Molecular dynamics/QM
